Was gibt es über jemanden zu sagen, der seit über 30 Jahren in der Musik zuhause ist? Der Trompeter Hans Peter Salentin begann mit seinem elften Lebensjahr sein Instrument zu erlernen. Sein erster Lehrer, Jon Eardley, ein ehemaliges Mitglied der Gerry Mulligan Group, hatte großen und nachhaltigen Einfluss auf ihn. Dies ist ein Grund, weshalb Salentin immer nach schönen und eingängigen Melodien sucht. Als Jazzmusiker ist er ein wahrer Echtzeitkomponist und Melodienerfinder. Das erleichterte es ihm sowohl als Komponist (17 CDs, Filmmusik, Musik für Streichquartette), als auch als Produzent (Lounge Musik) seine Ideen zu verwirklichen. Das musikalische Spektrum seiner Produktionen ist weit gestreut. Es bewegt sich zwischen Mainstream, Filmmusik, freien Improvisationen und Wave/Lounge Musik. Was immer HpS spielt: Er klingt unverwechselbar.

What to say about somebody who is playing his Instrument for more than 30 years now? Trumpeter Hans Peter Salentin started playin the Instrument when he was 11 years old. He was deeply influenced by his first teacher, Jon Eardley, a former member of the Gerry Mulligan Group. That`s why HpS is always searching for nice and great melodies. As a Jazz Guy, he is a real time Composer. That helped him a lot to work as a Composer (Originals, Movie Scores, Music for String Quartett) as well as Producer (Lounge Music). HpS released more than 17 CDs on his own, Mainstream, Moviescores, Improvised music and Wave/Lounge music. Whatever HpS is playin: he sounds unique.
